peel and stick black board

If you are looking for a black board for your kids to practice spelling words, math or even doodle then here is a board to check out. This Blackboard paper is amazing. I had thought about painting a section on my boys walls with blackboard paint. I was just worried because we do not own our house we rent it and I did not want to try and paint over blackboard paint. This was the answer to all my problems. It came in a roll that had about six and a half feet long and a foot and a half in height. The back of it is like contact paper. There are grid lines to cut to the size that you want. It also comes with a couple pieces of chalk. I prefer the chalk markers and both can be wiped right off and not leave a trace. If you are a DIY person this would be perfect to make your own chalkboard labels especially if you have the shape cutters already. I know the chalkboard labels can get kind of pricey especially is you are needing a lot of them and the amount of chalkboard you get with this for the price is amazing! To check it out chick here

DRONE

This is the first drone that I have played with. I found out that I should never try to fly a drone for a living, but man it's fun. I did this in an area that had power wires and lots of trees so I was uneasy to really let it fly. I need to find a nice open spot to fly it. When you receive this drone you will need to attach the blade guards, landing feet, and the camera. It is very simple to install them. It comes with the screws and the tiny screwdriver to install the parts. It also comes with the charger and a 4 gig memory card. There were extra propellers that came in the box along with a mini sd card reader. The reader is mini SD to USB. I have never had one of those before, so I was pretty excited that I would be able to use that to transfer the pics or video to my computer with out any issues.

I will say this bad boy will shoot up in the air fairly quickly. I think that's one of the things that got me worried because this thing would move super fast. Well faster than the helicopter my son had that I used to play with. The SD card is easy to install into the camera  and when your done you just put it into the reader. The lights on this thing can be seen for quite a distance. I can't say how far because I never got it far enough that I could not see the drone. The thing that really surprised me was how well this thing will hold up to crash landings. There was one time I was trying to bring it down and I did by crashing it. It fell at least 10 plus feet onto the road. It even landed top down. The blade guards protected the blades. To my surprise this thing still worked like nothing happened. The only downfall I see to this and there is really nothing that you can do to fix it is, if there tall grass when you crash it, the tall grass will get wrapped around the blades and prevent you from taking back off, we had to un stick it several times the first time I flew it. My son love this. I think I am going to gift it to him because from my video you can see that I spent more time on the ground than up in the air and that is because it would shoot up and I would get scared and bring it right back to the ground.  If you are interested in getting a drone like this one just clickhere .

Baby Hats

These hats are so cute. They can be used for either gender. They are super soft and the stitching is great. There are no loose seams or any fraying. Each hat comes with cute little ears on top. The hats are all different. One has a cute animal face, the second one it a pale yellow and the third is just a neutral print. These would be cute for a baby shower gift. I would not say that they would fit a new born though, they are a little bigger than some of the newborn hats that I have. That means they will have some time to grow into them. I am really pleased with these hats and would recommend them to anyone. You can buy them HERE .

pot holders

Looking for a great pot holder for you kitchen, then look no farther. I hate cloth pot holders because I seem to always get food on them, its a pain. I either have to use them dirty or wash them. That causes them to fall apart or fade. I Was a little nervous about using silicone. I mean really silicone is suppose to protect my hands from heat?!?! To my amazement they really did. I use these to place hot pots on my table I just lay one on the table and put the pot on top of it. I also use them to place my flat iron on so I don't scorch my counter top in the bathroom.   These pot holders wipe right off with just a little soap and water!

No show socks !

My husband always has trouble finding no show socks. We live in Florida so he is in shorts almost all year long. When I seen these I knew that I had to get a set for him to try. I love Bamboo material. I fell in love with it, when I bought a bamboo pillow. These socks did not disappoint. They are really soft like my pillow. They would be great for dress shoes or really low ankle shoes. They fit my husbands foot perfectly. The best part is they are so low that they have little "grippers" in the heel to make sure they stay in place. My husband had no issues with them falling down and he wears them all day long. He really likes these socks and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for really nice, soft, no show socks. You can get yours here .

added security

I love my house, but the neighborhood sometimes not so much. I am always worried that someone will break into my house when I am gone. I have a huge dog inside, but she thinks she is the friendly lap dog. There is no protection so I always leave the TV on when we leave. I am actually taking away from the life of my TV by doing that. This is a lot cheaper than replacing a 55 inch flat screen TV.

This device has a timer that you can set to on, 4, or 8 hours. When you chose the setting you want it will be a solid color, until dusk is detected and then the colors will change/ flicker. When you are standing outside it really looks like someone is watching TV. There is also a way to simulate sound but that option I have not tried yet. It is small enough that I just keep it on my end table and plug it in when I am going to be gone from the house at night. I face it to the curtains ( that are closed so no one can actually see inside). I feel a lot more secure leaving my house at night and I am able to save on the life of my tv. I am really impressed with this little device and would recommend it for anyone that needs that extra little security, when leaving their house.

how I get my kids to eat veggies !!!

If you do not own a vegetable spiralizer, you are really missing out on an amazing kitchen gadget. Eating veggies have never been an issue for me (I’m a vegetarian). My children and husband are meat and potatoes kind of people. Getting them to eat anything that is “green” is impossible until I added this wonderful gadget to my kitchen. I think it’s a mental thing with them. It looks so much “cooler” than it did sliced with a knife. I have to admit that it seems to be a little different to me. I have found this is great for stir fry, and making salads “fun”. I have yet to make pasta with it, I am slowly working my children up to that. They do however want me to make spiral potatoes and deep fry them. I may just do that because they sound so yummy! That may be a treat if I can get them to eat veggie pasta! It does come with a cap that you can use when your veggies are getting small, that way you don’t cut yourself. I also love how it can give your dishes a little “flair”, I like to make my dinner’s look yummy. Presentation is a must when serving guests. It is really easy to clean, and so small that I can just toss it in a drawer in my very tiny kitchen and Its not taking up what minimal space that I already have.
